Something for the man in your life, perhaps?
The US banned gems imported from Myanmar in 2003 as part of wide economic sanctions against the military government. But a legal loophole still allows them to enter the country if they are first cut and polished elsewhere. Nearly 90 percent of the world’s rubies are mined in Myanmar, and many of the good quality rubies in the US originate from Myanmar.
There’s nothing I love more than mythical jewelry, I love dragons, this one is gorgeous! I was actually looking at the nose rings at bodycandy.com, but I’ve never been able to get the one they put in my nose to pierce it, out, anyone know how to remove it? It hurts REALLY bad when I try to remove it but I so badly want to so I can put something with a smaller back in.
Anyway, on to the Ruby Red Gem Mythical Dragon Belly Ring!
I’d like to get my belly pierced, if I did, this could actually be the first piece I buy, and it’s only $8.99, it’s on sale! ![]()

Did you know that rubies are thought to have healing properties, both in treating the blood and matters of the heart?
Rubies have been used for centuries to cure and protect, ancient cultures held the belief that the ruby could cure problems with the digestive system, energize blood and heal the heart. The ruby was worn by warriors going into battle for it’s protective qualities.
Many spa’s today offer light therapy which uses a lamp with a genuine natural precious gem. This treatment uses a gemstone in a specially designed lamp, which sends out a gentle frequency (the same frequency our brain uses from Delta to Beta) from a medical instrument, onto the lamp. The results range from cooling an overheated blood system to relaxation, to helping with hormonal problems, digestion problems and more.
